Carol Tysdal has been painting the landscape, seascapes, flora and fauna of British Columbia for over 50 years.
In the 1980's Tysdal focused on industrial architecture and its place in the landscape. This included One Woman shows in Port Alberni and Vancouver featuring industrial themes. She also paints landscapes, marine scenes and still life.
Tysdal's paintings and prints hang in private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the US, Asia and Europe. A collection of her industrial work is held in the Canadian Heritage Art Collection. She is now back on the Island.
